How to Play Millionaire Video Poker

To start playing Millionaire Video Poker, log into your talkSPORT account and hit the game tile at the top of this page to launch your session. You’ll be transported into Playtech’s luxurious live poker rooms via the live stream, where your croupier sits at the sleek table, an augmented control display along the bottom of the screen.

If you’re not already a member, you can register today by clicking the ‘sign up’ button above and following the prompts to complete your details. Remember, you must be at least 18 to play; ID verification will be required.

Back to the game, Millionaire Video Poker starts with a choice of which paytable you wish to play with; you have a choice of 5, which determines the game variant and possible payouts. You can view each of the different paytables in the game rules.

You must also decide how many hands to play and your bet size, and check or uncheck the Millionaire game box as desired. Use the game controls to make your decisions and select your wager within the allocated betting time. Your total bet is displayed when you click the BET button. When you confirm your bet, the button will switch from blue to green.

From here, the game proceeds as per standard video poker. You are dealt five cards, choose which to keep, the rest are discarded, and your hand is refilled with a second round of cards. If you are playing multiple hands, the rest of them are filled virtually.

Millionaire Video Poker Bonus Features

Deuces Wild Video Poker

In this game variant, wild cards are 2s of any suit that are marked WILD. They can substitute for any single card from the starting 52-card deck in the deal to help you create higher-ranking hands for a potentially more substantial payout.

The Millionaire Game

After all hands are resolved and the total win is shown, four cards from the highest rank are chosen from 10 cards from the first and second deals. They are displayed one by one from highest to lowest. There are five levels to bet on. You can qualify for The Millionaire Game with one of the following combinations:

  • Level 1: Ace, King, Queen, Jack
  • Level 2: Ace, King, Queen, Queen
  • Level 3: Ace, King, Jack, Jack
  • Level 4: Ace, Ace, Ace, Queen
  • Level 5: Ace, Ace, King, Nine

The Millionaire Game plays out like the TV show. At each level on the ladder, you must pick from ‘answers’ A, B, C, or D to find the highest available multiplier, which is added to your total and move up to the next level. Picking the X will end the bonus.

Four lifelines can be randomly triggered throughout the game:

  • 50:50 – Automatically removes two smallest multipliers
  • Ask the Audience – Displays the answers as a bar chart as though the virtual audience has voted and selected the highest multiplier.
  • Ask the Host – The host will randomly remove answers with the lowest multipliers. The higher the level, the fewer answers the host will remove.

Lifelines can only appear once each per game.
