The heart of the gameplay remains the same. It’s played on a 5x5 grid with a single-line slot reel running along the bottom. Up to 12 Slingos can be collected by marking off numbers on the game grid to form horizontal, vertical, or diagonal lines. The more you collect, the more you can win.

The Slingo board sits on the red and white chequered table top, the Italian chef popping his head out from the side. The pay ladder is a teetering tower of pizza boxes, which shows the prizes you can earn for four or more Slingos. A single row reel sits below the game board. 

Click on the green coin stacks button to select your bet for the game round, which gives you five spins to match numbers from the reel on your game board above. Match all the numbers in a line to collect the Slingo. The more Slingos you complete, the further up the pay ladder you will climb.  

To earn payouts, you need to collect or complete Slingo win lines by matching off numbers on your grid with the numbers that land on the reel below. There are 12 win lines and 11 prizes on the prize ladder because the last number marked off the grid will always complete at least two Slingo lines.

Reel Symbols 

As per standard Slingo gameplay, as well as the numbers, four special reel symbols can also appear on a spin: 

• Wild: Wild symbols are an entire bowl of pasta with Wild written along the bottom. They let you mark off any number in the column above. 
• Super Wild: The Super Wilds feature the chef with “Super Wild” written along the bottom. They let you mark off any number in the entire grid. 
• Bonus Spin: The Bonus Spin symbol is a meatball with spaghetti and +1 Spin written along the bottom. It adds one further spin to your count. 
• Blocker: Blocker symbols are a crossed knife and fork, and block any numbers or other symbols landing in that position. 

Ingredient Match 

The Ingredient Match mechanic is where things get more interesting. Following a spin, once the number matches are complete, the first of the matched positions rotates to reveal an ingredient. Then, all unmatched adjacent positions also rotate to reveal an ingredient. If there is a match, that position also gets marked off. If the ingredient doesn’t match, the number rotates back into view. 

This sequence then repeats for all other grid positions marked off on that spin, spreading across the grid until all marked positions have revealed their ingredients. Then, any completed Slingos are awarded. 

Jackpot Prizes 

There are five jackpots up for grabs in Slinguini Slingo, which require nine or more matches to trigger: 

• 9x matches = Mini Jackpot = 5x 
• 11x matches = Minor Jackpot = 25x 
• 14x matches = Major Jackpot = 100x 
• 17x matches = Mega Jackpot = 1,000x 
• 20x matches = Grand Jackpot = 5,000x 

Extra Spins 

At the end of your spins, you have the chance to purchase extra spins. The price of each spin is dependent on the current grid positions and prize potential, and prices can be higher than your initial base bet.  

The price of the next spin is shown on the spin button, and your potential wins are highlighted along with the numbers on the grid. The bonus spin symbol is removed from the reel during extra spins.
