The 15th edition of the Big Bash League ran from 14 December 2025 to 25 January 2026, with the regular season concluding on 18 January and the finals series taking place over the following week.

Perth Scorchers topped the regular-season standings with 14 points and went on to lift the trophy after defeating Sydney Sixers by six wickets in the final at Perth Stadium. Josh Inglis sealed the title with a six, with Perth comfortably chasing down 133 in 17.3 overs after their bowling attack restricted the Sixers to 132 runs all out. The win marked Perth's sixth BBL title, extending their record as the most successful franchise in tournament history.

Ashton Turner became the first captain to win three BBL finals as skipper and the first player to win five BBL finals overall, cementing his place as one of the most decorated figures in the league's history.

The Sydney Sixers were the surprise runners-up after eliminating defending champions Hobart Hurricanes in The Challenger, before falling short of their fourth BBL title in the final. Ben McDermott was the leading run-scorer for the Hurricanes with 322 runs, while Rishad Hossain led the wicket-takers' chart with 15 dismissals.
