Who Are the Current Holders of the UEFA Euros?
Spain go into UEFA Euro 2028 as the holders. They claimed the title at UEFA Euro 2024 after defeating England 2-1 in the final on 14 July 2024 at Olympiastadion, Berlin.
Goals from Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal secured victory, with England's only goal coming from Cole Palmer.
The triumph gave Spain a record-breaking fourth European Championship title, moving them ahead of Germany as the tournament's most successful nation. Rodri was named Player of the Tournament, while Lamine Yamal won the Young Player of the Tournament award.
