Imperial Quest is an Asian-themed live casino game show from Evolution, the masters of this popular live dealer entertainment category. The action takes place in a glitzy game show studio, with red and gold lighting and glowing Chinese lanterns hanging from the ceiling.
It’s a simple money wheel game played on a massive, colourful wheel, which is controlled by your live game host, dressed in an outfit befitting the game theme. Gameplay is straightforward, fast, and fun, with capped wins up to 20,000x the bet.

When you’re signed up, logged in, and funded, return to this page and hit the game tile to join the Imperial Quest live stream. You’ll be transported into the Evolution live casino studio, where your host presides over the giant, golden game wheel.
The game is played on a money wheel divided into 54 segments, each marked with a number with a unique corresponding colour. The segments 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 40 are your betting options, with the numbers representing the payout values for each. In addition, there are two bonus segments marked with 2x and 7x multipliers.
The game rules are simple: to bet on which segment you think the flapper at the top of the wheel will land in after your game host spins the wheel. Getting it right scores you a payout matching the number segment as a multiplier of your winning bet.
When you first join the live stream, there might be a game in session, meaning you’ll have to wait for the next game round to play. Take this time to have a look around and familiarise yourself with the game controls. You can even watch a few rounds if you’ve not played before, to get used to the gameplay before placing any bets.
During the allocated betting time, the betting table is overlaid at the bottom of your screen along with a selection of virtual casino chips of various values. Select the chip value you wish to bet, then tap the positions (or positions) you wish to bet on, which correspond with the numbered segments on the game wheel.
You can place more than one bet per round, and there’s a button to quickly bet on all six options. You cannot bet on multiplier segments.
Once betting time ends, your game host will spin the wheel to determine the winning number. If you’ve bet on the winner, you’ll score a payout as per the game’s paytable.
The table summarises the layout of the game wheel, as the segments are not evenly dispersed. The payout odds indicate the likelihood of that particular number hitting. Your payout is equal to the wheel number multiplied by your winning bet value, as indicated below:
| Number on Wheel | No. of Segments | Payout |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 23 | 1:1 |
| 2 | 15 | 2:1 |
| 5 | 7 | 5:1 |
| 10 | 4 | 10:1 |
| 20 | 2 | 20:1 |
| 40 | 2 | 40:1 |
| 2x | 1 | Multiplies the payout of the next winning number by 2x |
| 7x | 1 | Multiplies the payout of the next winning number by 7x |
The two multiplier segments don’t pay out in their own right, but instead are “banked” for the next spin of the game wheel.
When the wheel stops on a multiplier segment, then all bets remain in place, and the wheel is spun again. No new bets can be placed for the second spin, as it still counts as part of the same game round.
The outcome of the respin will determine the winning number and odds as usual. But this time, the winning payout is multiplied by either two or seven, depending on the banked multiplier.
If the wheel stops on a multiplier segment two or more times in a row, then all bets remain in place, and the banked multipliers are stacked up until the next time the wheel lands on a winning number. So if the wheel landed on 2x and then 7x, the next winning number would first be multiplied by two and then by seven before your payout is awarded.
