Lightning Storm Live is an Evolution live casino game show featuring a 39-segment DigiWheel, instant-win segments, side bets and five interactive bonus games.

Launched in July 2024, the game represents the fifth generation of Evolution’s money-wheel game shows, following earlier releases including Dream Catcher, Crazy Time and Funky Time. It is presented live from a retro-futuristic laboratory studio filled with electrical effects, machinery and multiplier displays.

Getting into Lightning Storm at talkSPORT BET is simple. Here is how a round plays out:

Number Bets

Players can bet on individual numbered segments or cover multiple numbers. If the wheel stops on a number containing an assigned bonus symbol, qualifying players enter that bonus game.

Leaf Bet

Leaf segments provide an instant payout when the DigiWheel stops on a winning Leaf position.

Storm Chaser

Storm Chaser covers the five bonus-game symbols. If the Lightning Storm symbol is assigned to a numbered segment, a Storm Chaser chip is placed on the corresponding betting position.

X Chaser

Hot Spot

Hot Spot uses a giant 9x12 wall filled with hidden multipliers.

Players select a tile before the multipliers are revealed. A moving 3x3 electrified area then travels around the wall and doubles all nine multipliers beneath it when it stops.

If the selected tile falls inside the electrified area, its value is also doubled. The Hot Spot bonus can award a multiplier of up to 10,000x.

Monster Mash

Monster Mash takes place on three horizontal reels representing a monster’s head, torso and legs.

Each body part has either a Regular or Global multiplier. Regular values are added together, while Global multipliers multiply the other values used to create the final result.

The bonus ends when the reels assemble the completed monster, with a maximum multiplier of 10,000x.

Battery Charger

Battery Charger features a conveyor belt carrying ten batteries: nine with Regular multipliers and one with a Global multiplier.

A miniature wheel determines what happens to each battery. Red causes it to overload and explode, while green awards the current Regular multiplier or activates the Global battery.

The Global multiplier doubles the values of the batteries remaining on the conveyor belt. The final multiplier can reach up to 10,000x.

Fireball

Fireball takes place inside an enclosure containing 149 multiplier pockets.

A ball is launched onto the grid and can land on either a Regular or Double multiplier. Landing on a Regular multiplier ends the round and awards that value.

Landing on a Double multiplier doubles every Regular multiplier on the grid before the ball is launched again. This can continue until the ball lands on a Regular multiplier, with a maximum result of 10,000x.

Lightning Storm Bonus

The headline Lightning Storm bonus features a large billboard containing eight Regular and three Global multipliers.

Three lightning strikes are generated, and players choose one before the results are revealed. The selected strike travels across the multiplier grid, collecting Regular values and potentially combining them with Global multipliers.

This is the only bonus game with a maximum multiplier of 20,000x.

Lightning Storm Multipliers

Numbered segments assigned a bonus symbol can also receive an initial multiplier between 2x and 50x.

When the selected segment triggers its bonus, the initial multiplier is applied to qualifying values before the bonus game begins. The exact application differs depending on whether the bonus uses Regular, Global or Double multipliers.

This additional layer means two appearances of the same bonus game can begin with different multiplier values.
