Ryze II Slot Game
ELK Studios is known for innovative video slots, and this quirky dragon-themed game does not disappoint. It’s a follow-up to the studio’s Ryze slot, and played on a 6-5-6-5-6-5-6 offset grid with a cluster pays mechanic.
The title offers high volatility, a 10,000x prize potential, and a bunch of features, such as multiplier wilds and bonus drops, to help you maximise your wins.
How to Play Ryze II
To play Ryze II, hit the ‘sign up’ button to register, then tap the game tile to launch your session.
When the game opens, you’re transported deep within the dragon’s lair, where the stone game grid is filled with colourful orbs, coins, and bonus symbols. Click the coin stack icon to set your stake for the game, then hit spin to play.
Ryze II Symbols & Payouts
The game uses a cluster pays mechanic to award payouts in the base game. Hit clusters of five or more matching pay symbols to score prizes as per the paytable.
Pay symbols include low-paying bronze coins to top-paying red gemstones. Look out for different-coloured orbs that activate the special features for boosted rewards.
Ryze II Bonus Features
Avalanche Feature
The Avalanche Feature causes all instances of winning symbol types to explode from the grid, leaving space for additional drops. It continues as long as new winning combinations occur.
Orb Powers
Winning clusters adjacent to a dormant orb will activate one of six powers. Activating a Burst symbol adjacent to a dormant orb may also cause it to activate. Powers are as follows:
- Spawn Coin: Selects either an empty symbol space on the grid or a symbol that is not part of a win, and converts it into a coin with a random cash value.
- Symbol Shift: Selects a payout symbol type and upgrades all symbols of that type on the grid into the same higher-value symbol.
- Spawn Burst: Selects either an empty symbol space on the grid or a symbol that’s not part of a win, and converts it into Symbol Burst.
- Spawn Wild: Selects either an empty symbol space on the grid or a symbol that’s not part of a win, and converts it into a Multiplier Wild.
- Empower Wild: Selects a Multiplier Wild and doubles its multiplier value.
- Spawn Greater Wild: Selects either an empty symbol space on the grid or a symbol that’s not part of a win, and converts it into a Multilier Wild with a higher-than-normal multiplier value.
Orb Overlord
If all six orbs are activated during a single game round, an Orb Overlord triggers at the end of the round. At the beginning of the Orb Overlord, the orbs may be assigned an orb power. Activated and assigned orbs trigger a feature one by one. After an Orb Overloard, all orbs reset to a dormant state and can be activated again in the same round.
Multiplier Wilds
A winning cluster of pay symbols creates a 1x Multiplier Wild in one of the vacant grid positions left after a win. The Multiplier Wild increases its multiplier value by one for each payout or coin symbol in the winning cluster it is part of, and then moves to one of the vacant positions.
When multiple Multiplier Wilds are part of the same winning cluster, their multiplier values are increased and then added together. They then merge into a single Multiplier Wild with the combined multiplier value.
Coin Symbols
Coin Win + Merge: Coins hold an instant cash value. A winning coin cluster pays its total value, then a new coin is left behind with that combined value.
Coin Win + Multiplier: If a winning coin cluster is adjacent to Multiplier Wilds, the multiplier is applied to the coin cluster win. After the win, each involved Multiplier Wild increases its multiplier by one for each symbol position in the coin cluster, then moves to one of the vacated grid positions.
Burst Symbols
The Burst symbol transforms itself and adjacent pay symbols into the same type of pay symbol or into coin symbols. Bonus symbols, Burst symbols, coins and Multiplier Wilds are not affected.
Free Drops Bonus Game
When the bonus symbol reaches the bottom of the game arena, you are awarded with seven free drops in the bonus game. Each time a bonus symbol reaches the bottom during the bonus, you score an extra three free drops.
Super Bonus Game
When a super bonus symbol reaches the bottom of the grid in the base game, the Super Bonus is launched, again starting with seven free drops. In this version of the bonus, Multiplier Wilds remain sticky between drops. Each bonus drop starts with an Orb Overlord.
