Reel Area and Fire Pits
In the base game, you’ll see three fire pits burning above the reels. Each fire pit is linked to a unique base game feature.
The fire pits are randomly activated when one of their corresponding scrolls lands on the reels. The three features are xWays, the infectious wild, and xSplit, introduced below:
- xWays: This feature is awarded when the orange scroll lands. An xWays symbol will transform into two to four of the same regular symbols, increasing the number of ways to win.
- Infectious wild: When the red scroll lands, infectious wilds will be activated. This feature randomly selects a symbol on the reels and transforms all instances of it into wilds. If more than one infectious wild lands, each wild will choose a different symbol to transform.
- xSplit: The xSplit feature is awarded when the grey scroll lands. It splits all symbols on its row into two symbols, and then the xSplit symbol will transform into a wild.
xNudge Wilds
The xNudge wild symbol is a shackled prisoner, with his head covered. The symbol is a stacked wild, occupying the entire row and spanning three symbols in height.
If the xNudge wild lands only partially on a row, it will nudge down one position until it’s entirely in view. Its multiplier increases by 1x when it nudges down.
When the xNudge wild is fully in view, it will step one place to the left on every spin until it moves completely off the reels. The xNudge symbol moving across the reel is known as the Dead Man’s Walk. Its multiplier increases by 1x each time it moves.
Dead Man’s Gold
When three or more bonus symbols land on the reels, you’ll be awarded the Dead Man’s Gold bonus round. You’ll receive three, four, or five spins, depending on the number of bonus symbols that activate the feature.
The feature is played on a 5x5 grid, where only coin symbols can land. Every time a coin lands, it will remain in position for the rest of the feature, and the re-spin counter will reset. When three or more coins align vertically or horizontally, their values will be collected and paid out.
There are four feature coins in the game, and each one is activated when it’s collected, as follows:
- Collector = collects the value of all active coins.
- Cloner = copies the highest coin value to all active coins.
