Casino Hold’em is a live dealer casino game from Pragmatic Play’s live casino division, based on one of the most popular table games of all time. While blackjack is generally considered the most visited table game at the casino, poker is played more widely overall.
Casino Hold’em loosely follows the rules of Texas Hold’em, but you’re playing directly against the house, and payouts are determined by winning hand ranks. It also includes two side bets based solely on the first five cards you see.
The maximum you can win on a single round of Casino Hold’em is 20,000x, awarded if you get a winning Straight Flush on the Jackpot Side Bet.
Log in to your talkSPORT BET account and hit the game tile to launch the game and take your seat at the green-felted table across from the live dealer.
If you’re new to our platform, you can register and start playing today. Click ‘sign up’ at the top of your screen and enter your details as prompted. Remember that you must be 18 years old to play, and ID verification is required to complete registration.
The objective of the game is to make a better five-card poker hand than the dealer to win the round. Your hand is made of two hole cards used only by you and five community cards shared by both you and the dealer.
During the allocated betting time, choose your bet size from the selection of virtual casino chips displayed and place it on the ANTE betting spot to join the game. You can also choose at this point to play either of the side bets (or both). Once betting ends, the dealer will start the game.
Initially, you and the dealer both get two hole cards (you can’t see the dealer’s hand), and the flop (the first three community cards) is laid face-up on the table. Then comes decision time, and you must choose whether to play on or fold and wait for the next round.
If you’d like to play on, you must double your bet. Hit the PLAY button, and your bet is automatically placed on the PLAY betting spot. Select FOLD to end the round and forfeit your ante bet.
If you play on, two more community cards are dealt, known as the turn and the river. Both hands are then evaluated to determine game outcomes.
There are five possible outcomes, based on what’s in each hand, outlined below:
| Result | Ante Bet | Play Bet |
|---|---|---|
| You fold | Lose | Lose |
| Dealer does not qualify | Win according to the Ante payout table | Push |
| Dealer qualifies, you win | Win according to the Ante payout table | Win 1:1 |
| Dealer qualifies, you lose | Lose | Lose |
| Dealer qualifies, you tie | Push | Push |
If you win the game round, your prize depends on the strength of your hand. The ante bet payout table shows the winning hand ranks, configurations, and payouts. For the two side bets, the hand configurations are the same as the ante bet, with boosted prizes as detailed below:
| Winning Hand | Configuration | Payout |
|---|---|---|
| Pair | Two of the same rank | 1:1 |
| Two Pair | Two pairs of the same-rank cards | 1:1 |
| Three of a Kind | Three of the same rank | 1:1 |
| Straight | Five consecutive cards, any suit | 1:1 |
| Flush | Five of the same suit, any rank | 2:1 |
| Full House | Three of a kind and a pair | 3:1 |
| Four of a Kind | Four of the same rank | 10:1 |
| Straight Flush | Five consecutive cards of the same suit | 20:1 |
| Royal Flush | A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit | 100:1 |
| Winning Hand | Payout |
|---|---|
| Pair of Aces | 7:1 |
| Two Pair | 7:1 |
| Three of a Kind | 7:1 |
| Straight | 7:1 |
| Flush | 20:1 |

Side bets are optional and determined by the first five visible cards, which are your two hole cards and the three cards dealt on the flop. You can win a side bet regardless of the main game outcome, but must place an ANTE bet to join.
There are two side bets in Casino Hold’em:
In the AA+ side bet, if you have a pair of Aces or better, you win the bet and are paid according to the AA+ payout table. Your bet must cover the AA+ betting spot to qualify.
The Jackpot side bet is placed on the JACKPOT betting spot, and can only be made after your ante bet. To win, you must make one of the following hands with your five initial cards:
