Ultimate Texas Hold’em follows the same standard Texas Hold’em gameplay, but in this version, you play directly against the dealer, rather than other players.
Your objective is to beat the dealer by creating a higher-ranking poker hand using your two personal cards and the five community cards laid face-up on the table.
The game is played with a standard deck of 52 playing cards. Individual cards are ranked in descending order, and aces can count as both high and low, depending on what best suits the hand. When you first launch the title, if a round is already in play, you might have to wait to join the game.
When betting opens, you will see a choice of virtual casino chips overlaid on the screen, which you use to bet with. Start by selecting a chip, then place it in the relevant spot on the table in front of you. The blind bet is automatically placed for you. At this stage, you can also play an additional “trips” bet, which is discussed more below.
The game starts with the dealer dealing out two cards each to the player and the dealer positions. Player cards are face up, and dealer cards remain face down. After a short pause, the dealer will deal out the first three community cards, followed by the final two, making five in total.
During the pauses, you can play and increase your bet, or check and wait to see what else is presented.
When all community cards are out, the dealer will reveal their hand and compare hands to determine the outcome.
The table below shows the possible game outcomes for any round of Ultimate Texas Hold’em:

Dealer does not qualify, and you win | Push | Win | 1:1 |

Dealer qualifies, and you win | Win | Win | 1:1 |
Dealer qualifies and you lose | Lose | Lose | Lose |

There are 10 possible hands, ranked highest to lowest from Royal Flush to a single high card, as per the list below:
Payouts for winning blind bets are as follows:
Hand | Payout |
Royal Flush | 500:1 |
Straight Flush | 50:1 |
Four of a Kind | 10:1 |
Full House | 3:1 |
Flush | 1.5:1 |

As well as the regular play bets discussed above, you can also play an additional “trips” side bet.
The trips bet is an optional side bet that you can place before the game round starts. Place your chip in the TRIPS bet spot after your ante bet has been accepted.
You win on your trips bet when your final five-card hand has three of a kind or better, no matter what hand the dealer has.

Straight Flush | 40:1 |
Four of a Kind | 30:1 |
Full House | 8:1 |
Flush | 7:1 |
