Trigger Happy uses the Cluster Pays mechanic, which means that winning combinations are made by five or more matching symbols on adjacent reels, either vertically or horizontally.

Trigger Happy Bonus Features
There are two bonus panels in the game that control how other features are triggered. There are free spins, multipliers and the Wild Exchange feature.
Bonus Panels
One of the two panels runs vertically down the side of the reels, and the other runs along the bottom. Each contains five positions.
For every spin and every reaction, the vertical panel spins vertically, and the horizontal panel spins horizontally. When each panel spins, the positions can be filled with blank spaces, multipliers, a bomb, or a coin.
When the panels stop spinning, one position from the vertical panel and one from the horizontal position are randomly chosen. The two positions form a coordinate on the main grid, which points to a specific position.
The symbol in that position is then targeted and shot. The symbol now becomes wild. If a multiplier is in a vertical or horizontal position, it will be applied to any wins that result from the targeted wild.
If the wild forms a winning cluster, the symbols in the cluster will explore, and new symbols will drop from the top of the reels.
If a bomb lands on the vertical or horizontal panels, it causes all the symbols in that row to explore, and up to four wilds are randomly left behind.
Free Spins
Eight free spins are awarded if there are two coin symbols on both panels that are chosen to decide the target on the main grid.
Two targets appear during free spins. Each target places a wild in a different position. You’ll be awarded three additional free spins if a target aligns with a trigger coin on both panels.
Win Exchange
If you win 100x of your stake or more, you can exchange 100x of your stake for eight free spins.
