Gladiator: Mega Cash Collect starts with five base game reels. Reels one and five have three positions, and reels two, three, and four have four positions. If free games are awarded, a bigger grid comes into play.

The warriors don’t just fight to the death in this game. They can also deliver some exciting bonuses. There’s the Cash Collect symbol, free games, the Gladiator feature, and the Cash Collect jackpot game, as detailed here:
Cash Collect Symbol
If you land a Cash Collect symbol on reels one or five, it will collect all the cash values on the screen. It will also collect free game coins and trigger the free games feature.
Free Games
If you land a Cash Collect symbol on reels one or five and free games coins anywhere on the reels, the free games round will be triggered.
When this happens, extra reels are revealed at the top of the standard reels. There is a five-reel, three-row grid with another row of three positions at the top. There’s also a position at the top with three padlocks securing it. All the new reels are locked with padlocks and chains.
Cash Collect symbols can appear anywhere on the reels during free games. The symbols will stay on the reels for the next spin. On every spin, the Cash Collect symbols will move down one place. This continues while free games are still in play until the symbol reaches the bottom of the reels and moves off.
If a Cash Collect symbol and a key symbol land on the reels, one of the padlocks on the extra reels will be unlocked. If you manage to unlock the very top three padlocks, this will activate frozen Cash Collect. This symbol will stay in place for the rest of the free games.
In addition to the Cash Collect symbol, five other symbols can appear during free games, as follows:
- Arrow up: This causes all Cash Collect symbols to move one place up on the next spin.
- Dropping wilds: When this symbol lands on the extra reels, along with a Cash Collect symbol, it will activate the special wild symbol.
- Cash spreader: This symbol will spread extra coins on the additional reels if it lands on them.
- Sticky cash: This special symbol freezes into position when it lands on the extra reels. It starts with a special cash prize of 1x. The multiplier value doubles on every spin, up to 16x. If it goes beyond 16x, the next symbol is the diamond symbol, which triggers the Cash Collect jackpot game.
- Random coin: If it lands on the extra reels, this symbol will freeze for three spins. The random coin will transform on every spin into a Cash Collect coin symbol or special symbols, except for the sticky cash symbol.
