How to Play Speed Blackjack
To start playing, log in to your account or hit ‘Sign Up’ to join our casino. It only takes a few simple steps to set up your new account. When you’re ready to proceed, hit the game tile to launch your game.
The objective of the game is to end the round with a higher card score than the dealer without exceeding 21 and going bust. A total score of exactly 21 on the two initial cards dealt is blackjack, the best hand in the game. Number cards retain their face value, and picture cards are worth 10. Aces can be either 1 or 11, depending on which is best for your hand.
Betting limits are always displayed on your screen for all table games. You can place bets from £1.00 on Bet Behind and side bets, and from £5.00 per hand for the main hand while seated at the table. Up to seven seats are available at the table.
When betting ends, the dealer deals two cards out to each position. One dealer card remains face down. At this point, any side bets are resolved and payouts awarded. Seated players then choose their play, starting from the dealer’s immediate left.
- Hit: take another card
- Stand: keep your current hand
- Double down: double your bet and receive another card
- Split: Splitting a pair into two separate hands
If your hand exceeds 21, you go bust and lose the round. If you stand, the dealer plays. The dealer must always hit on 16 or less and stand on 17. If you end the round with a higher hand value than the dealer’s, you win. If it ends in a tie, your bet is returned.

The game includes two optional side bets for added win potential: Twin Show and Three Up. You can place side bets only in combination with a main bet.
Side bets are independent of the main game outcome, so you can win even if you don’t win the main hand. Side bets are higher risk and offer higher payouts compared with main hand bets.
Twin Shot
The Twin Shot side bet is a wager on the first two cards drawn. If they are of equal value and in the following combinations, you win a payout:
- Perfect Pair: Two identical cards, both the same rank and the same suit.
- Coloured Pair: Two cards of the same rank and same colour, but different suits.
- Mixed Pair: Two cards of the same rank, but of a different coloured suit.
Three Up
The Three Up side bet is based on your first two cards drawn and the dealer’s upcard. You will win the bet with any of the following poker-style combinations:
- Suited Trips: Three identical triplets, cards of the same rank and suit.
- Straight Flush: Three cards of the same suit in sequential order.
- Three of a Kind: Three cards of the same rank, but of any suits.
- Straight: Three sequential cards of any suit.
- Flush: Three non-sequential cards of the same suit.
Bet Behind
The Bet Behind option lets you join a full table, follow the actions of seated players, and place bets on their hands. You are placing Bet Behind bets on a win, lose, or push. Payouts for Bet Behind bets are the same as for main blackjack bets.
Winning streak icons next to a player’s nickname will help you choose the players to back. The number inside the winning streak icon (flame) indicates the number of consecutive wins. As soon as the player loses a game round, the winning streak icon disappears.
You cannot Bet Behind your own hand or on free table seats. The seated player makes all the decisions; you just follow the results. In the game settings, you can alter whether to include the seated player’s double down or insurance bets. If the seated player decides not to play the round, your Bet Behind wager is returned.
