Everton Betting Odds 2025/26

The 2024/25 season was a tough one for Everton fans. They had to watch on as their Merseyside neighbours romped to the English Premier League title, and they said goodbye to their Goodison Park home.

However, David Moyes' return halfway through last season improved matters on the pitch, and most fans are now looking forward to the prospect of playing at their new ground, the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

So, with much promise, anticipation, and excitement, let’s look at your Everton odds and betting options at talkSPORT BET Sportsbook for the coming season.

Everton EPL Odds

You can back Everton to win the 2025/26 English Premier League title at 500/1*, which is half the price they were at the start of the 2024/25 campaign.

So, while a title is improbable for the blue half of Liverpool, their shorter odds signify a massive improvement, which we saw on the field in the second half of last season.

Instead of backing Everton to win the Premier League, you will find better value in backing the Toffees to win either of the domestic cups.

As Newcastle United and Crystal Palace proved last season, anyone can win the EFL Cup and the FA Cup, so these two competitions will serve as Everton’s best chances of silverware in the 2025/26 season.

Everton 2024/25 Performance Review

Everton ended the 2024/25 season with three impressive wins, finishing 13th with 48 points, a considerable feat given that they looked in relegation trouble earlier in the season.

The arrival of Moyes to replace Sean Dyche was the catalyst that turned Everton’s season around, and the popular Scottish manager will lead Everton into their new stadium for the 2025/26 season.

Most Everton fans would have agreed that maintaining their Premier League status was their biggest priority in the 2024/25 season, given that it would be their last at Goodison Park. So, with this in mind, the 2024/25 season was a decent one for the Toffees.

The highlight of the season was the unbeaten nine-match run that Moyes oversaw after returning to the club in January, securing three crucial consecutive wins against Tottenham, Brighton, and Leicester City to steer the Toffees away from the relegation spots.

To put these wins into perspective, Moyes secured three wins in three games, while Sean Dyche had the same number of wins from the first 20 games of the campaign.

The season's most memorable game was the last-ever Merseyside Derby at Goodison. The rearranged fixture took place on February 12th, 2025, and a 98th-minute equaliser from James Tarkowski in a 2-2 draw sent the faithful into raptures, ensuring that the Reds wouldn’t leave the home of their fierce rivals with a victory for the very last time.

Everton showed that they were more than capable of taking points from the teams at the top of the table at different stages of the season. They beat Newcastle in the final game with everything on the line for the Toon Army, and they held Arsenal to two draws.

So, while the board and Moyes will target a top ten finish in Everton’s first season at their shiny new stadium, the 2024/25 campaign was relatively successful, and the experienced Scottish manager has something to build on next season.

Everton Transfer News

The big news for Toffees fans in the post-2024/25 season transfer market is that Moyes made Carlos Alcaraz’s loan permanent, securing his services for around €15 million from Brazilian side Flamengo.

Alcaraz was creative and impressive in his 15 Premier League appearances for Everton last season, and most fans will be happy with his permanent arrival.

As for departures, Neal Maupay has secured a permanent transfer to Marseille after scoring just a solitary Premier League goal for Everton. The club also released Abdoulaye Doucouré, who made 149 league appearances for Everton and was much-loved among the Goodison faithful.

Ashley Young, Mason Holgate, and Asmir Begovic also left Merseyside this summer to look for new clubs.
