Chelsea Betting Odds 2026/27

Chelsea finished tenth in the English Premier League at the end of the 2025/26 campaign, a hugely disappointing season for the club, which saw Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior depart the managerial role.

The lack of stability proved costly for Chelsea, and they won’t play any European football in the 2026/27 season. This might do their domestic chances the world of good, as they look to improve across the board.

Below are your Chelsea betting odds for the 2026/27 season at talkSPORT BET Sportsbook.

Chelsea EPL Odds for 2026/27

Chelsea go into the 2026/27 campaign under yet another new manager. This time, former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso has been given the keys to the West London kingdom. Will he be a success in his first season as a manager in England? Will he even make it to the end of the campaign?

If you think Alonso can win the title this season, you can back Chelsea at 10/1* at talkSPORT BET, before a ball is kicked. If you think a top-four finish is more realistic for the Blues, Chelsea are priced at 11/10* to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Chelsea 2025/26 Performance Review

Chelsea’s tenth-placed finish was their joint second-lowest this century, highlighting just how disappointing their campaign was.

It started promisingly. Maresca guided Chelsea to an unbeaten start across their first four games, but things fell apart at the end of November. Chelsea won just one game between 30th November and 17th January, a run that saw them plummet down the table.

Under Rosenior in the second half of the season, the man chosen to replace Maresca, things got even worse. Chelsea lost six league matches on the bounce between 14th March and 4th May, before losing the FA Cup final at the end of the campaign, which was their only chance of silverware and European qualification.

One positive was the addition of Joao Pedro to the squad, and Chelsea finally seem to have the number nine position sewn up. The Brazilian scored 20 goals in all competitions, and ended the campaign with 15 Premier League goals.

In Europe, Chelsea couldn’t make it past the last sixteen of the UEFA Champions League, bowing out to eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain, who beat them 8-2 on aggregate.

Chelsea Transfer News

The 2026/27 summer and winter transfer windows will likely be significantly quieter for Chelsea than in the last few seasons.

The early arrival of sought-after striker Liam Delap from Ipswich Town was a shrewd move for Chelsea. He scored 12 goals in 37 Premier League appearances for the Tractor Boys, an impressive return given that they were relegated back to the English Championship.

The fact that he’s English will also help Chelsea to meet home-grown rules with Champions League squad registration requirements, and on the pitch, he will provide competition for Nicolas Jackson.

Delap will be joined by Estêvão Willian, who arrived at Stamford Bridge at the start of the 2025/26 season in an initial £30 million deal. The former Palmeiras winger has been outstanding since breaking into the first team, and he’s one of the most talented young players in the current Brazil squad, winning five caps before his 19th birthday.

Sporting CP’s Dário Essugo is another summer arrival at the Bridge, after swapping Lisbon for London in a deal worth over £20 million. The combative midfielder will likely be on the fringes of the first team or may even be loaned out for further experience, but he’s one to watch for the future.

Essugo’s teammate Geovany Quenda has also joined Chelsea, in a fee worth upwards of £45 million. Like Essugo, Quenda is one for the future, but he won’t arrive at Chelsea until the start of the 2026/27 season.

Rumours abound relating to Chelsea transfers in the 2026/27 season, and you can bet on transfer specials at talkSPORT BET if you have a hunch who might end up at the Bridge this season.
