Craps Live Casino Game

Live Craps is a live dealer game from Evolution based on the classic casino table game, best known in the UK for drawing crowds in casino scenes of big-budget Hollywood movies.

It might look daunting, but the game is relatively easy to follow once you get the hang of it, and Evolution has included a series of tools to help you follow along with the action.

An Easy Mode offers all the excitement with fewer betting options for when you’re starting out, and an interactive explainer to help beginners understand the various betting options.

How to Play Craps

The objective of Craps is to bet on the combined total of two dice rolls. There are 36 possible number combinations, and several betting options with varying degrees of risk, winning conditions, and payout potential.

There are two phases in Craps: the Come Out Roll and the Point Roll. You can place bets in both phases; some are single-roll bets, and others take multiple rolls to be resolved.

A small puck directly above the virtual table shows if the next roll is a Come Out (Puck is OFF) or a Point (Puck is ON). It helps you follow the gameplay and know which bets can be placed.

When betting is open, the camera shows your game host standing next to the table, with a retro-gaming hall backdrop. The virtual betting table and chips are overlaid at the bottom of the shot.

All bet types can be placed when betting is open, regardless of which phase the game is in, except the Pass Line and Don’t Pass Line bets, which are only available in the Come Out phase. To play, select a chip of your desired bet size and tap the positions you’d like to lay your bets. If you’re a new player, click on the Craps Menu and hit LEARN CRAPS for an interactive craps explainer.

The camera flicks to the craps table when betting ends, and it’s time to launch the dice. The chips disappear when not in use, and the virtual table angles to give you a better view of the dice hitting the table.

Craps Bonus Features

My Numbers

The My Numbers panel acts to guide you through the game. Once you have placed your bets, certain values are highlighted to show where you would win or lose. Multiple bets are aggregated. You can also place bets directly from the panel.

Turn Off Bets

You have the option to turn off placed bets on Place to Win, Place to Lose, and Hardways so that the following rolls will not resolve them. Bets can be turned off using the buttons in the Craps Menu.

  • During Come Out: Bets that are turned off will not be resolved during the Come Out phase. Once the game re-enters the Point phase, the turned-off bets will resume working.
  • For Next Roll Only: Bets that are turned off will not be resolved for the next roll. After the next roll, turned off bets start working again. You can use this option only a set number of times within a given limit. A count is displayed to help you keep track.

When you have bets turned off, you can continue to place new bets and proceed with the game normally. New bets placed on turned-off spots will automatically be turned off.

Easy Mode

Easy Mode is ideal for beginners who want to enjoy the game's excitement with simpler rules and fewer betting options. It can be toggled on and off with the buttons in the Craps Menu.
