There are nine regular symbols in Mega Fire Blaze: Axoloco. The low-value symbols are the 10-A royals, while the boot and the three coloured frogs dressed as Mexican bandits (the so-called Axolotl characters) are the high payers.  

All symbols pay for matches from left to right for three or more of a kind. Here’s the Mega Fire Blaze: Axoloco paytable, based on a wager of £1.00:  

Wild Symbol  

The wild symbol may substitute for all regular symbols to help you complete winning combinations, but it can’t replace the scatter, prize, or gold chill symbols.  

During the bonus round, the wild symbol will land with a 2x multiplier, doubling your payouts.  

The wild symbol can only appear on reels two, three, four, and five. 

Scatter Symbol  

The bonus chest is the scatter symbol, and it can land in any reel position on each base game spin. Landing three or more in view will give you immediate access to the bonus round plus the following payouts:  

• 3x scatters = 1x  
• 4x scatters = 10x  
• 5x scatters = 50x  

Free Spins Bonus Round  

Three or more scatters will give you five free spins. During the bonus game, any wild symbol that contributes to a winning combination will double the payout.  

It’s possible to reactivate the bonus round with three or more scatters in view on another bonus spin.  

Prize and Gold Chilli Symbols 

If six or more prize and gold chilli symbols land in any position on the reels, they will activate the Mega Fire Blaze Hold & Re-Spin Feature.  

The possible prize values are 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 50x, or a star (bonus prize).  

When gold chillies appear, they remove one padlock during the feature (explained below), before transforming into a prize.  

Mega Fire Blaze Hold & Re-Spin Feature  

At the start of this game, all prize and gold chilli symbols that activate it are held in place, and five extra rows are shown, each with two padlocks.  

If symbols land on padlocks during the feature, they are inactive and cannot contribute to wins until the padlocks are opened.  

The game begins with three re-spins, and each position will spin independently. After every re-spin, new symbols that land hold in place and the re-spin counter resets to three.  

Gold chilli symbols that land on an unlocked row will remove one padlock from one of the locked rows beneath, opening up the game grid. You need to remove both padlocks from each row to unlock it.  

If you unlock four rows during the course of the feature (or if all available symbol positions are locked), the wooden hatch at the top of the reels will open.  

Each re-spin that occurs with the hatch open will give you the chance to win the GRAND prize, equal to 2,000x the bet. Any held star symbols will award the MAJOR (500x), MINOR (100x), or MINI (20x) prizes.  

Throughout the feature, prize, gold chillis, red Axolotl, green Axolotl, and blue Axolotl symbols can appear on the grid. Specifically, here’s what you can expect from the Axolotl symbols when they land:  

Red Axolotl  

Red Axolotl symbols that appear on an unlocked row will boost the value of up to 10 other symbols that are currently held in place. They will then transform into a held prize symbol with a value equal to 1x the bet.  

Green Axolotl  

Green Axolotl symbols that appear on an unlocked row will accumulate the total prize values from up to 10 other symbols. They will then transform into a held prize symbol with a value equal to the accumulated total.  

Blue Axolotl  

Blue Axolotl symbols that appear on an unlocked row will award up to five extra held prize symbols. They will then transform into a held prize symbol with a value equal to 1x the bet.
