Lightning Blackjack is a variation of the classic table game by Evolution and is of their popular Lightning series, which also includes roulette and baccarat.
Once you enter into the stunning Art Deco world of Lightning Blackjack, you'll see the familiar set-up found on any casino table. Yet with this game, you pay a 100% lightning fee on your bets, which will be visible on the game interface. When you manage to score a winning hand, you'll automatically get a multiplier of 2x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 20x or 25x.
Even if you leave the table before getting to use the multiplier, have no fear! It will remain for up to 180 days and will therefore be ready for you when you return.
The Lightning Blackjack rules are generally straightforward: you must get a hand that is as close to 21 as possible, or at least one that is closer than the dealer's hand.
To start, you must place your bet within the 15 seconds betting timeframe. Select the coin value, place the bet and an additional lightning fee, equal to its value, is always deducted from your bankroll.
The game begins when the cards are dealt. Each player gets a card that faces upwards including the dealer. A second card is handed out face upwards, though the dealer's second card is face down.
If the dealer's card shows an ace, the player is offered insurance. The dealer will then check for blackjack, and if they have it, the game ends with a dealer win. Anyone who took insurance is paid 2:1.
When no blackjack occurs, players then have a choice to hit, stand, double, or split. Splitting can only be done once, and an additional main bet must be taken.
If a player's hand is the same as the dealer's, their bet is returned. If the dealer wins, all bets are lost. Multipliers become void in both instances.
When a player has a better hand, the main bet is played on money. However, if a lightning multiplier is involved, you can expect that bet to increase.
When the betting time ends, a series of lightning multipliers are assigned to players. These come from six predefined ranges. Hand values of 4 –17, 18, 19,20, 21 and blackjack all have them added.
This multiplier will be between 2x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 20x or 25x. These multipliers are only lost if the dealer wins, or a hand equals the dealers. The fee will pay out up to the value of the lightning fee from the previous round. If it's more, then the difference is paid at the standard rate for the round in play.
