Placing a baseball moneyline bet is a great place to start. With this market, you're simply picking an outright winner. For example, betting on the Boston Red Sox to beat the New York Yankees.

Run Line

Betting on the run line in baseball means betting on one team to cover the spread. For example, if the Los Angeles Dodgers are a -2.5 run line favourite to win, the team would have to win the game by three runs or more.

Totals (Over/Under)

Making a baseball totals bet simply means betting on any baseball market focusing on the total number of the final score. For example, if the Red Sox and Yankees have an over/under total of 8.5 runs, and you were to bet the over, the teams would need to combine for nine runs or more for the bet to hit.

Player Specials Bets

Baseball prop bets are often totals bets as well, except pertaining to players as opposed to teams or the final score. For example, betting on Aaron Judge to hit over 1.5 home runs.

Outrights

Baseball futures odds are better known in the UK as outrights. These are set early to allow you to bet on future events, usually awards given to teams or individuals. For example, betting on the Yankees to win the World Series or betting on Gerrit Cole to win the Cy Young Award (Pitcher of the Year) before (or during) the season.

ACCAs

Submitting a baseball accumulator bet means combining more than one bet. For example, a three-leg baseball acca bet could include a Red Sox win, over 7.5 total runs, and over 6.5 strikeouts from the starting pitcher. In this case, all three bets would need to independently hit to register as a win (even though they're connected).

Baseball betting odds are displayed as fractional odds. For example, if the Boston Red Sox have hypothetical  2/1 odds of winning, a successful £20 bet would net a £30 payout.
