Neil Callan’s Wolverhampton Rides – 04/06/2024

Posted on June 4, 2024June 4, 2024 By Neil Callan

We’re going for three rides at Wolverhampton’s evening meeting. First one we start off with a 2 year old for James Tate called Never Know and shows a bit of speed in his homework. He’s been working OK but is a little bit green, so I’d expect him to come on for the run. There’s a couple in there that have had a run with good form, so I’d expect that this 2 year old will come on for the run.

Then we ride a horse for Brian Toomey, Wake Up Harry, who’s one of Harry Redknapp’s horses. Very consistent on the all-weather and this course and distance from a good draw and it’s not a very strong race. I’m hoping that Wake Up Harry can maintain his form and definitely have a good chance in the sprint.

Then we ride a horse called Con Te Partiro for Richard Spencer. Very solid form around this track course and distance. Has had a little break. Goes with the visor on first time out so I’m hoping that can spark him and keep him at the level he’s been winning at. Good second last start but I think this horse of a rating of 63 definitely still has more rating points in hand. Hopefully we can round off the card with another winner. So yeah, I’m looking forward to a good day at Wolverhampton.
