Tomorrow off to Kempton, start of a new week. There’s a couple of good races on.
Starting off with Katara Keech for George Baker. He’s been running not too bad of races. In and out, but his all water form is pretty good, so I think coming back under the all water is a plus.
Got a little bit of a tricky draw, doesn’t look the strongest of races, so he could bounce back to his all water form and show something. So, Katara Kish is definitely worthy of a chance. Then we got one of the maiden, which is not much good.
Then Ludo’s Landing boys in the mile and a quarter handicap. It’s the qualifier of the series final for the middle distance London. 70 grand race, Ludo’s Landing. I was a course and distance winner on him two starts back, a solid four last start. I don’t think the race was a hundred percent run to suit him, but I think this is a competitive race, but they could go a little bit fast, which will suit my fella. He’ll be coming late and fast if he is. So Lourdes Landing got good course and distance form. So he has to be in there with a shout.
Then Jim Boyles and the last Vince Lombardi, going for a Tung Pai Chi piece his first time. Not too bad a run, two starts a go on the all weather finish fourth, but his form’s got to take another step up to be competitive here, but not an exciting, but hopefully there’s something in there to take out.
