Hey guys, out of luck at the Racing League yesterday. But we did well. We ran second. Wales in the West were the winners.
We’re going back to Southwell today. Three good rides, two for James Tay, one for Dunlop. Starting off with Smart Hero, what a form!
Very good run on the last start at Sandown. Very unlucky to get pinned late on in the line, but off a rating of eight two pretty much good form. So hopefully coming back into maiden company over slightly shorter, and we’ll see him in good stead and hopefully he can kickstart his career and get a win smart hero.
Beyond words, James Tate, three runs going handicapping now for rating a 62, two good runs in the all weather last season, first run this season over a little bit further, probably didn’t quite stay. But coming back to its preferred distance over a mile going handicapped on for a rating of 62 in not a very strong race, not much strength and depth to it. So hopefully she can show her rating and take advantage.
We finish off a Turner girl for Ed Dunlop. The last time I put cheat pieces on, it walked the Oracle at Doncaster, led from pillar to post, albeit on very testing ground, but it has good form around this track in the past, and it’s a winner over the distance and so going for Blinkers this time, so hopefully a first time Blinkers after running a dismal run in an amateur race, hoping they’re coming back to a normal race on the flat. First time Blinkers wake her up and a small field hope she can bust them.
Three good rides. Hopefully we come away with winners than we did yesterday.
