I’m off to Lingfield for a couple of rides today, two rides for William Knight, starting off in the mile handicap on Bintmaha. This Frankel filly is very well bred. Two runs ago, ran a really solid fourth for me in a maiden at Kempton over seven, I thought the step up to a mile would suit her but once she went back on the turf at Salisbury, she ran a little bit below par, but hopefully coming back to the all weather, a little bit of cushioned surface will suit her better.
The mile will be perfect for her and hopefully she can turn a corner and show a bit of better form than her homework. So Bintmaha, outside chance but a place chance.
We’re followed by Lilly’s Bet in the seven furlong maiden. Really solid run two weeks ago for me, only just beaten on the nod and goes back to the same course and distance. She’s been running very well, not a very strong race, but hopefully she can just put her head down and get her head in front for a deserved win.
Two rides, two competitive chances. Hopefully get some luck.
