I’m going to Ascot today for three rides.
I first ride Pearl of Windsor – a nice two year old filly from Conrad Allens by Pinatubo. A very good first run at Newmarket, showed signs of greenness and a little bit keen, but she should definitely put that to good use and be a little bit more relaxed and a bit more clued up this time. So, I expect a good run from her.
Next, Moel Arthur has been running well over further and been quite consistent. Cheek pieces go on first time, back in distance over a mile and ½. I can see that could work the oracle and he too could run a good race.
Mumayaz in the handicap has been twice a winner on the all-weather earlier this year. I was a very good second on him at Brighton two starts back last month and he’s a little bit hard to catch right. But on his day in his best form, he’s very capable. But he’s needs everything to drop right for him. Sit late, come with a turn a foot, deliver late and hopefully he can do the job.
