Day two, five more rides again.
It’s always a competitive weekend. We’ve got the Crown Prince’s Cup, which has listed international status—a very rich race. We’re going in there with Zagato. He’s a previous winner of this race and a multiple winner in Bahrain. He’s been running very well lately, winning two of his last three or four races. However, it’s a very strong race, with Phantom Flight of George Scott’s and Passion and Glory for Godolphin being tough nuts to crack. But Zagato definitely goes in there with a very competitive chance.
Next we’ve got Moudallal, who is a multiple winner here. I’ve won multiple races on him in the past. He’s a fairly tough horse and never knows when to give up, so he’ll go into an ultra-competitive local race with a definite chance.
Then we have Panning For Gold. Panning For Gold has been running quite well this season without hitting the board. I think this is his ideal distance—2,400 meters (a mile and a half)—and back in a handicap, which I believe will suit him. A mile and a half is perfect, and from a good draw in stall one, hopefully, he can get his head back in front. He has shown very strong form from last season.
