This evening, we’re gonna go to chelmsford’s all weather fixture and I got four rides there.
We start off at Red Hat Eagle, very consistent on the all weather. I think this horse has matured quite a lot. He used to be quite keen in these races. He’s learning to settle now. And he’s won two races of his last three. I’ve won on him over this distance, he’s had a little bit of a break. His homework is good. I’ve been riding him at home so very happy with him and he is in good form, but it’s a very competitive race, so I’m hoping that he can just maintain his consistent run in the all weather.
Then we go on Miss Black Jack. Coming over from Ireland, a good winner at Dundalk last start, but she’s dipping her toe into listed level now. It’s gonna be a little bit tough for her from this draw, but I’m hoping at the big odds that she can be good enough to nick some black types. So hopefully she’s a good place chance in a competitive listed race for fillies.
I’ve then got a Regal Envoy for William Knight. He has been running well since switched to the all weather, had a little bit of a break, got a lot of speed from a good draw, so it’s not an overly strong race. There’s a couple to beat, but I’m hoping that since his forms kind of gone up a level since he’s gone to the all weather that he can maintain that form.
I then finish off with a Man On A Mission in the six furlong handicap. Now, this horse has been very consistent on the all weather, two runs back kind of a little bit below par, but then bounced back with a good second last start. We got a good draw. So, I’m hoping that that second last start is a kick start back into good form and I would say he has a good chance tonight.
