Starting off with Twilight Guest. Still racing in a maiden but it’s hard to understand that he’s still a maiden as he’s been quite consistent and on some good races. I’m hoping that coming back to a mile will prove better for him than running over a mile and a quarter as he’s been running quite free, so hopefully at this level he can show something.
Then we ride Moostar for Darrell Holland. He’s run two half decent runs at better tracks at Newmarket and Goodwood, coming to Yarmouth means it’s a slight drop in grade against these types of horses, but hopefully he can show us something this time, and if not, it’s his third run for a handicap.
Then we got Climate Action for Michael Bell. Two very good runs, first up a very disappointing last start. First run up this year, but the fact that they’re going for a maiden again instead of running in a handicap off seventy-nine shows that they hold him in decent regard.
Angle Land for Robert Cowell. Very game, tough win last start for me over course and distance. She’s speedy, tough and gives everything. So, I’m hoping now that she’s got back in the winner circle that she can maintain that positive win and go in again. She’s not the strongest, but plenty of chances in there, so hopefully we can keep the good form going.
