After a week’s absence through suspension, we’re back and we’re fresh and ready to go.
We’re going to Brighton for three rides, starting off with Pathetic Fallacy for Johnny Butler. 3 runs in maidens and novices, but first time in a handicap off a lowly rating.
It’ll be interesting to see what she can do. Uncompetitive race, not very strong at all. So if it’s been handicapped to go and any money for it, then we will see., but it wouldn’t take much winning this race.
Then we got Gold Hill for James Tate. I’ve galloped his horse at home. He goes all right, nice type. First time out on a track like this, unless he’s a cut above them he could be okay, but I think he’s definitely got a future. We’ll have to see what he does first time out.
Then Ceilidh for George Baker. Very interesting that this horse is stepping up in distance quite dramatically from seven to a mile, up to a mile and one. It could be the making of him. I have been placed on him over six. He’s got very good course form in this grade. So hopefully the step up in distance will be the key to him.
