Betting Angles from the 2025 US Masters Odds

Posted on March 31, 2025March 31, 2025 By talkSPORT BET

Get to grips with the latest betting angles and insights ahead of Augusta and discover the best 2025 US Masters odds at talkSPORT BET.

From seasoned favourites to dark horse contenders, we hand-pick some of the golfers most likely to impress at Augusta this year from the top and lower reaches of the betting market.

How to Bet on the US Masters 2025

At talkSPORT BET, we cover as many angles of the US Masters as possible from a betting perspective. In the weeks and months before the event, you can place ante-post bets at bigger prices or wait until nearer to the event to get more creative.

Whether it’s top-five or top-ten finish markets or even betting on a player to simply make the cut at Augusta, you can be sure of having access to competitive US Masters odds at talkSPORT BET.

Main Contenders and Outsiders in the Outright Winner Market

Let’s run through some of the names to catch our own eyes both at the top of the market and further down in the US Masters odds to try and hand-pick some value golf betting angles.

The Players at the Top of the Market

It’s little surprise to see Scottie Scheffler priced as the 9/2* favourite for the 2025 US Masters. The 28-year-old is the world number one, and although he hasn’t had the best start to the season, he’s still the hot favourite to win his third Masters title at Augusta National this year.

Northern Irish ace Rory McIlroy is currently the second favourite to win this year’s green jacket, priced at 13/2*. The US Masters is the only one of the four golf majors Rory hasn’t won, and he will be desperate to triumph in Georgia. He was brilliant in winning the 2025 Players Championship in March, but he hasn’t won a major since 2014 and will hope that 2025 is the year to change that.

Ludvig Aberg is one of Europe’s most exciting golfers right now, and he’s third in the running for the 2025 US Masters, priced at 14/1* at talkSPORT BET. Aberg recorded the second win of his PGA career at the Genesis in February, making a hole-in-one in the process. He also has two top-ten finishes in his six events so far this campaign and will eye the 2025 Masters as the ideal opportunity to win his first major tournament, given that he was so impressive at Augusta last year by finishing second.

As for Jon Rahm, it may be a tall order for the Spaniard to win in 2025, reflected in his current price of 16/1* at talkSPORT BET. The Spaniard, once destined for great things, hasn’t played his best golf since joining the LIV Tour, and he only has two wins on the Saudi-backed circuit to show for his efforts. His last major win came at Augusta in 2023, so he certainly knows how to win here.

Undervalued Underdogs for Value-Seekers

As with most betting on golf majors, it’s often about finding the value in the ante-post markets. If you’re looking for golfers capable of troubling the top of the leaderboard for some or all of the 2025 US Masters, let’s look at the players leaping out to us in the ante-post market right now.

Based on form alone, it’s difficult to overlook the recent showings of Russell Henley. In fact, the American is one of the most in-form players on the tour this year, with one tournament victory and four top-ten finishes so far in 2025. He’s currently priced at 50/1*, which looks like great value for the man who will likely end the month of March in second place in the PGA Tour prize money table.

2021 Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama is also attractively priced at 28/1* ahead of Augusta this year. The Japanese star had a brilliant start to the year, winning the Sentry by three shots ahead of Collin Morikawa. His 35-under-par broke Cam Smith’s 2024 record as the lowest round ever in a PGA event. Matsuyama has made the cut in seven of his eight appearances so far this season and will likely be there or thereabouts on Masters’ Sunday.

Another in-form player is Sepp Straka, who is attractively priced at 70/1* ahead of the Masters. The 31-year-old Austrian has won three times on the PGA Tour and has enjoyed a fruitful start to 2025. He won the Desert Classic at La Quinta in California in January and has made the cut in nine of his ten events this year. Though Europeans have struggled at Augusta in recent times, Straka is an in-form player going into the first major of the year.
